Al-Salam Foundation is an Islamic non-profit organization, established in 2012, for the purpose to undertake and engage in religious, charitable, educational, and cultural activities. Al-Salam Foundation also promotes friendly relations between Muslims and people of other faiths to foster a Muslim community based on Islamic principles of universal brotherhood, equality and tolerance.
The Quran is the primary source of Islamic faith and practice. Al-Salam Foundation believes that spreading the good Word of God is through practicing and living the Quran in the daily lives, such as, kindness within family, being a loving neighbor and through good citizenship. Al-Salam Foundation strongly believes in harmonious and peaceful relations with people of other faiths through sharing of our ways of lives and belief.
The office of Al-Salam Foundation is currently located at North West side of Indianapolis. It serves not only Muslims of city of Carmel but also Muslims of neighboring towns such as Zionsville and Westfield.
Al-Salam Foundation is solely run through the generous donations of its patrons. The donations to Al-Salam Foundation are tax exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Federal Tax Id 45-4513092.
